A window onto Yorkshire’s moving image heritage
at the Hull History Centre.

Thanks to Heritage Lottery Fund support the Yorkshire Film Archive
have been working with the Hull History Centre and other partners
across the region to develop an interactive moving image website.
At www.yfaonline.com you can watch hundreds of films
reflecting Yorkshire life, landscape and culture from the 1890s to
the present day.
To coincide with the East Riding of Yorkshire launch and unveiling
of the new access points at HHC, YFA Online will feature an extra 7
hours of dedicated East Riding of Yorkshire footage.
Yorkshire Film Archive and the Hull History Centre invite you to join
us to celebrate the launch of YFA Online in the East Riding of
Yorkshire on Tuesday 8th June 2010 at the Hull History Centre,
Worship Street, Hull, HU2 8BG.
Lunchtime Club, 12:30pm - 1:30pm: The Hull Lunchtime Club
are dedicated to the story of “Hull and its people”. The YFA will
focus on the East Riding and Hull, screening highlights from the
YFA Online resource.
Launch Screening, 6pm - 7:30pm: From Hornsea to the
Beverley shipyards, Port of Goole to the ferries in the North Sea,
Bridlington to the Humber enjoy a packed film show featuring
highlights from the East Riding including new footage from Hull.
